The family behind Little Kickers Gold Coast

Abbey & Brad Madden have spent the last 8 years living in the UK in St Albans just outside of London. In July of 2010 they decided it was time to move back to their home - the Gold Coast Australia, and give their young children Rhyder (then 4) and Kalaih (then 6 months) the life style that they grew up with.

Brad left his role at Microsoft as a Business Analyst and Abbey left her role as an Area Director of Sales for Intercontinental Hotels Group to start to make this move possible. After spending 2 ½ years taking Rhyder to Little Kickers in St Albans, they decided that by bringing this franchise to the Gold Coast this was the change they needed.

Little Kickers launched on the Gold Coast in September 2010 and has enrolled over 250 children in these classes. At Little Kickers the focus is very much on fun - a national network of informal yet professionally run training classes where enthusiastic boys & girls, aged 2 to 5 years, are given a helping hand to stand on their own two feet.

The goal of Little Kickers is to use soccer as a fun forum to instil the growing squad with a little extra confidence, co-ordination, control and sense of camaraderie; which they feel will stand them in very good stead for the future.

Keep in tune with this Little Kickers Gold Coast blog to stay in the loop and keep up-to-date with behind the scenes news, new venue announcements, competitions and to meet our wonderful coaches.
