Abigail’s Mum & Dad had this to say
Little Kickers is a great way for Abigail to improve her gross motor skills and ability to follow instructions while having fun at the same time.  Her self-esteem and confidence has also increased and Abigail has become an enthusiastic and active participant who enjoys interacting with the other Little Kickers of her age.

Ella’s Mum & Dad had this to say
It's a great way for Ella to burn off some energy in a controlled environment. I think it's important for Ella to understand discipline in a group situation, while still having fun with her friends. She's also improving her gross motor skills and co-ordination. I like having a set time every week that we go to Little Kickers, as it teaches Ella routine and commitment to an activity.

Marissa’s Mum & Dad had this to say
We have been so impressed with the program. It is age appropriate and not only helps their coordination, ball skills and general physical development but also helps to develop other skills such as taking turns, following instructions and learning colours. The kids all have a lot of fun and the program even  incorporates  imaginative play which is appealing when the kids are so young.  It has been a great introduction to sport for Marissa.

Meet a Little Kicker Coach - Coach Andrew

Name: Andrew Curtis

Venues of Little Kickers coaching at: Pacific Pines

Love the game of Soccer and have been playing for 37 years. Have played here on the Gold Coast, Sydney and Japan and have been coaching Junior soccer for about 5 years.

Coaching perspective on Little Kickers:   A great forum in which children can partake in, learn and gain skills very important for their development.

What is your favourite little kickers game: Obstacle course

From the coach – I have had the privilege to grow up and play a large part of my soccer on the Gold Coast and vouch for the great environment we have for the game here. It is refreshing to see now we have complementing this a fantastic forum like Little Kickers that gives children the opportunity in which to start enjoying and learning the game here at an early age.

Congratulations must go to each and everyone who has taken up the above-mentioned opportunity for their child/children. For me it has been personally rewarding because it has been fantastic to see the development and gains made over time by all of the little kickers at Pacific Pines.

It is further refreshing to know that the little kickers will carry the skills that they have learnt on to whatever they do later in life - and who knows they may even get to play for such fantastic teams as Queensland Roar and Liverpool one day!

Hoping to see you all out at the centre soon

Coach Andrew

Meet a Little Kicker Coach - Coach Kitty

Coach Kitty our Assistant Coach at Southport has this to say about Little Kickers!

Prior to starting at Little Kickers I was living in America for a year playing soccer.  We played soccer daily as well as helped out as volunteer coaches for children. I have also played in Japan and Korea,  all these international experiences have given me a great insight into how different countries approach the game of soccer, making me a better coach and player.

I am a very competitive athlete and have played soccer throughout my life. Starting at a young age playing with my brothers, I learnt valuable skills that have helped me become the best soccer player I can be. I believe the development of basic skills at a young is vital in how a child will perform in all physical activities throughout their life. Little Kickers is giving children the chance to learn and experience a fantastic sport in a fun and energetic environment.

My favourite Little Kickers game would have to be Crocodiles, where the children dribble around the court whilst the coaches chase after them. The excitement and thrill the children get out of this activity is a perfect example of how learning can be fun. The children’s improvement that I witness from week to week is definitely and seeing their smiling faces is definitely the best part of coaching at Little Kickers.
